Bridget King Jewelry is known for its elegant classics with an edge. Founded in 2003 by San Francisco based designer Bridget King, each collection is designed for women-on-the-go looking for chic yet versatile pieces that are effortlessly wearable.
Bridget’s passion for jewelry started when she was a young student in Los Angeles. Unable to afford a pair of earrings, she decided to create her own using an assortment of beads and a pair of old tweezers. By the age of 19, her line was already stocked at several boutiques throughout California.
After graduating, she turned her eye to fashion where she enjoyed a successful career as a ready-to-wear designer. Her work took her around the globe to energetic cities that would later inspire her, from New York and Taipei to Hong Kong. After settling down and having two beautiful children, she decided to pick up her tweezers again and Bridget King Jewelry was officially born.
The line was an instant hit. Soon she had stockists including international retailers Lane Crawford, Harvey Nichols and Henri Bendel, and celebrity fans like Nicole Kidman.
Today the extensive collection includes a range of designs highlighting colourful precious stones, sliced diamonds and 14 karat gold. Must-haves include the iconic teardrop earrings, a set of three different sizes that can be worn alone or together for a sophisticated look. The 24/7 collection features pieces that you can throw on in the morning, like your favorite pair of jeans. What more could a woman ask for?
